There is a traditional handcraft in Minamisanriku.
It is handcrafted from silk cocoons.
You can learn how to do this at “Yes Factory” in the Iriya District.
There are three levels of classes that you can take.
In the beginner and intermediate classes, you can make a cat, dog and rabbit.
In the advanced level class, you can make flowers.
